Ready Logistics is the expert in transporting vehicles from anywhere to everywhere with a strong focus on meeting client delivery needs. Ready Logistics helps to minimize risk through our qualified carrier network, leverage technology and optimize service delivering convenience to our clients.
There are several factors that determine the market rate for transportation costs, therefore, it’s best to work with a Ready Logistics Dealer Sales representative to guarantee the best price for your order. Ready Logistics does provide a firm estimate which can be obtained through our website. Once you get a firm quote, your regional Dealer Sales representative will contact you to gather more details about your order.
There are several ways to place an order for transportation: 1) by calling us at 480.558.3200, option 3 and speaking with your Dealer Sales Representative, 2) sending an e-mail to sales@readylogistics.com, 3) in-lane on sale day at any Manheim auction or 4) online via one of our integrated partner platforms, such as SmartAuction and OVE.com.
Dealer clients can register for access to our Dealer Portal, which provides updates during the vehicle transportation process. The Dealer Portal is located at http://www.readylogistics.com/dealerportal. Consumer clients, known as personally owned vehicles (POV) can call our Personally Owned Vehicle (POV) team at 480.558.3200, option 3 to get details regarding your order.
Weather, traffic, road conditions and other unforeseen factors make guaranteeing the delivery date impossible for all transportation companies, however during the order process, we will provide you with a firm delivery estimate. One thing Ready Logistics can guarantee is that our team will be working very diligently to make sure your vehicle is delivered within the specified time they quote you as well as keep you informed every step of the way.
Typically Ready Logistics needs just a few days prior to your vehicle being available to arrange for pick-up. Regardless of your order date and pick-up date, our team will stay in constant contact to ensure the transportation process runs smoothly.
Under normal circumstances, a qualified carrier will pick up your vehicle within 2-5 days of the order date. If there are any changes to the pick-up time frame, our team will stay in contact to ensure the transportation process runs smoothly.
Ready Logistics provides “anywhere to everywhere” service on all orders at no additional charge. Our team will work with you to arrange a safe and comfortable pick-up and drop-off location for your vehicle. We recommend only working with companies will provide this service for the safety of you and your vehicle.
Ready Logistics takes its qualified carrier application process seriously. Our Carrier Compliance team validates and monitors carriers’ insurance policies, safety ratings, performance history, licensing and authority, etc. Carriers are required to maintain at least $1,000,000 in auto liability insurance, as well as cargo insurance that is dependent on the carrying capacity of their trailers, with additional insurance requirements dependent on the size of the carrier’s fleet and the scope of their operations. Once a carrier is approved, our Carrier Relations and regional dispatch teams monitor carrier performance and compliance to ensure that our qualified carrier network continues to operate consistent with Ready’s performance requirements.
Our goal is to keep your vehicle(s) with the same qualified carrier throughout the entire process, as this provides the best experience and minimizes risk. This is part of our “anywhere to everywhere” service promise to all of our clients.
Most transport trucks and long and wide, preventing them from gaining access to all residential or commercial neighborhoods. If it is not possible for your qualified carrier to reach your location, we will arrange a nearby, safe, well-lit area for your vehicle to be loaded and unloaded.
We recommend you try your best to receive the order, as a thorough inspection of the vehicle for damage must be completed. If you are not able to receive your vehicle, an authorized party may complete the drop-off inspection process on your behalf. To add an authorized user to your order, please call our Dealer Sales and Customer Care team at 480.558.3200, option 3 and provide the first name, last name and phone number of the user. We also recommend providing your authorized user your pick-up inspection report for reference.
Larger vehicles take up much more space on a transport truck than traditional passenger vehicles. Because of their dimensions, these vehicles take up the amount of space normally used for two vehicles, thus resulting in the need for an incremental increase in the fee. Full-size Trucks, Vans & SUV’s along with various other vehicles fit into this category.
We gladly accept any one of the following payment methods: MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover. We require one payment up front that is 100% refundable if you cancel prior to us scheduling a carrier. Once your vehicle has been scheduled with a carrier, you may still cancel anytime prior to pick-up for a full refund less a cancelation fee of up to $250. Do not give money directly to a qualified carrier.
If you are purchasing transportation directly through Ready Logistics for the first time, a one-time credit card payment may be required to complete your order. Upon successful payment of your first order, you may apply for credit terms or complete an auto payment form and send it back to our Accounting Department via fax 480-251-5228 or e-mail at accounting@readylogistics.com.
On an open carrier, your vehicle is exposed to inclement weather and road conditions just as it is when you are driving it yourself. On an enclosed carrier, your vehicle is not subjected to inclement weather or road conditions. Vehicles over a certain value are required to be transported via enclosed carrier. You may request your vehicle be transported via enclosed carrier.
We recommend against this as the Federal and State Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations prohibit the transport of household items in vehicles being transported by auto carriers. These items are also not covered by carrier's insurance. Any damage to your vehicle due to household goods shifting or breaking is also not covered. Personal belongings left in the vehicle are shipped strictly at the owner's risk. Carriers will not inventory any belongings left in the vehicle and will assume no responsibility. Items packed in the vehicle will also add weight that may cause damage to the vehicle. If you still feel the need to put personal items in your vehicle (Not Household Items) you must limit them to less than 100 lbs. and be confined to the trunk area. Under NO circumstances can the car contain firearms, hazardous materials, illegal substances, or contraband.
It is recommended to leave between 1/8 and 1/4 tank of fuel in your vehicle. However, we will transport it with any amount.
If your vehicle is not operable at the time of transportation, an inoperable fee of $150 will be added to the transport cost.
Oversized vehicles have any one or more of the following: 1) dual rear wheels, 2) lift kits (body or suspension), 3) oversized wheels or tires, and 4) roof racks. A standard oversized vehicle fee of $200 will be imposed. Vehicles with oversized characteristics beyond the ones stated and commercial vehicles may have an additional fee imposed depending on the level they are oversized.
Absolutely! Your vehicle is fully insured during transit by general carrier liability insurance. Oil drips onto convertible tops are not covered by the carrier's insurance. You may request your vehicle be transported via enclosed trailer during the order process.
